Multi-Year Plan (MYP) 2027-2029 for Older Adult Programs and Services

The Area Plan serves as a guide for the development and funding of aging services. Services include but are not limited to, information and referral, homemaking, personal care, respite care, family caregiver support, elder abuse prevention, legal assistance, long term care ombudsman, congregate and home delivered meals, adult day care, and transportation.

The Area Plan is required by the Older Americans Act and Older Michiganians Act. Directions for the plan are set by the Bureau of Aging, Community Living, and Supports (ACLS). The Area Plan describes how AAANM will administer funds for services, build partnerships, develop programs and advocate for the needs of older adults and caregivers in Region 10.
